Corona Virus Update – 7.30pm 200320
COVID-19
Bujustu Briefing Note
Issued 7.30pm Friday 20th March 2020
Tonight Camden Council advised that they were closing all Council Facilities effective immediately.
This impacts upon our Oran Park and Gregory Hills Dojo’s.
In short, training is suspended at Oran Park and Gregory Hills until Camden Council reopen the facility which will most likely be in the coming weeks.
In the mean time:
Oran Park classes will be run at our Smeaton Grange dojo – 21 Waler Crescent Smeaton Grange NSW 2567
Every Monday 4pm to 4.30pm until council reopen their halls. The class will be led by Sensei Mark.
Gregory Hills classes will be run at our Smeaton Grange dojo – 21 Waler Crescent Smeaton Grange NSW 2567
Every Thursday 4pm to 4.30pm until council reopen their halls. The class will be led by Sensei Mark.
This afternoon our Prime Minister announced that indoor facilities would be limited to 1 person for every 4 metres square of floor space.
In effect this means that if you have a 200 metres square room you can only have 50 people in it. Not 100 people.
This change does not affect Bujutsu.
The Bujutsu dojo area is 1500 metres square, and would allow for a maximum of 375 people in our dojo, but the limit is still capped at 100.
Bujutsu will continue to monitor government guidelines, implement any required changes and report them to you.
Or course all of our ramped up protection and hygiene measures remain in place.
Our classes remain very small.
