Free Lesson:
Bujutsu offers a free lesson to anyone who lives locally and is interested in joining Bujutsu.
In order to access a free lesson you will need to first sign our waiver.
Children must be accompanied by one of their parents on the date of the free lesson.
If you have been a member of Bujutsu before or previously had a free lesson at Bujutsu you are not entitled to a further free lesson.
Free Uniform:
If you join the same day as your free lesson, you will be entitled to obtain a free uniform per member joining. If you have 4 family members joining, you will receive 4 free uniforms.
Our free uniform policy will save you a lot of money.
If you have been a member of Bujutsu before, you will only be entitled to another free uniform if it has been at least 12 months since you have been a member of Bujutsu.
Uniform Policy:
Members must wear official Bujutsu uniforms whilst training.
If you turn up to class without your uniform you may not be allowed to train.
Please note that different styles at Bujutsu require different uniforms. For example, Our Japan Karate Association, RyuKonKai Karate and Kobudo, Muay Thai and BJJ uniforms are all different.
You must wear the correct uniform for the style you are training in.
No Smoking or Vaping:
All Bujutsu dojo’s are non smoking, non vaping venues. This includes our reception areas as well as our car parks.
Sick Policy:
If you are feeling sick or unwell please do not attend any of our dojos.
Parents, please do not bring any siblings to our dojo’s that may be sick.
It is important that we all consider the welfare and safety of all of our members and instructors.
Please make the most of our make up policy and do make up lessons whenever you are ready.
Please note that if you attend one of our dojo’s and appear to be sick we will need to ask you to leave.
Infection Control Policy:
All injuries/wounds/lacerations must be covered and strapped appropriately.
If an injury occurs and you start to bleed from a scratch for example, please immediately inform an instructor who will take the necessary steps to ensure everyone is protected.
Membership and Make Up Lessons:
You are welcome to make up lessons before or after you miss one of your lessons.
Remember that your package is flexible, you can train on whatever day you like whenever you like. There is no need to ask us about catching up on a lesson, just turn up to class and sign in.
You have 3 months to catch up on your make up lessons.
Once you terminate your membership you also forfeit your make up lessons, once your 21 days notice has expired.
We do not put accounts on hold so that you can do make up lessons.
If you downgrade your account, e.g. from a 2 day pass to a 1 day pass you forfeit your makeup lessons, once your 21 days notice has expired.
Memberships are not transferrable.
Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to join Bujutsu you must join for a minimum of 12 weeks.
You can cancel your account by emailing mark@bujutsumartialarts.com
You will be required to give 21 days notice and you may train during this notice period.
All of these arrangements will be explained to you when you enrol and you will be required to initial and sign for each one of them.
Extreme Weather Closure:
In order to keep our members safe, we cannot run classes during extreme weather conditions.
Should we experience extreme weather, all members will be notified by email that the dojo will be closed for the day.
As our memberships are flexible in that you can train any day of the week, in any class you like, and have 3 months to do make-up lessons, we ask our members to make up any missed lessons caused by extreme weather at their convenience and within 3 months.
$60 refer a friend gift voucher:
If you are a member of Bujutsu and you a refer a friend who joins Bujutsu, you will receive a $60 gift voucher to spend at Bujutsu.
This is our way or saying thank you for supporting Bujutsu.
One $60 gift voucher is available per membership signed. For example, if you refer a family of 2 and they both join on the same membership payment plan, you will receive one $60 gift voucher.
Please note that if a member of your immediate family joins Bujutsu and is added to your current membership, no gift voucher will be issued. A good example of this is, you have one child training at Bujutsu and then another one of your children decides to join Bujutsu.
Please ask the person you referred to Bujutsu to mention that you referred them to us so that we can prepare your gift voucher for you. If your friend forgets you have 6 weeks from the date that your friend joined Bujutsu to claim your referral vouchers.
