What is tuifa?

Tuifa is the Okinawan name for what is known in Western society as a side handled baton. Chinese often refer to the tuifa as tonfa.

 

Tuifa is a weapon used in our RyuKonKai Karate and Kobudo style and are traditionally made of red oak.

 

Tuifa is very effective for both defending and attacking.
