How to tie a martial arts belt or a karate belt

My instructors and I are asked everyday by parents of kids who train with us, how do you tie this belt on?

This video will show you how to tie a martial arts belt. I recommend you use this tie for kids because it is unlikely to come undone.

I also demonstrate how to tie a karate belt the traditional way. Please don’t use this tie for kids, as it will definitely come undone. This tie is only suitable for older kids and adults.
