Bujutsu Japan Karate Association Grading
Sensei Mark first started training with the Japan Karate Association in 1987.
The grades he awards are internationally recognised and registered with the Japan Karate Association H.Q. in Tokyo Japan.
Grading Timings:
Saturday the 29th November 2025 – 11.00 am

Terms and Conditions:
The Japan Karate Association has strict grading rules that Sensei Mark must follow.
Note:
If you are under 14 years of age you need to have accumulated 18 hours of training.
If you are over 14 years of age you must have accumulated 30 hours of training.
You can obtain your training hour count from the Bujutsu App.
PLEASE: DO NOT register if you won’t meet the requirement by grading day. You will not be allowed to undertake the grading unless you have exceptional circumstances that you have discussed with Sensei Mark.
If register and do not meet the required hours you will receive a refund minus a $10 administration fee.
You must present your JKA Passport to reception at least 48 hours prior to the grading. If you fail to do this we will not issue you with a grade.
Please note that if this is your first grading, you will be issued your JKA Passport at the grading.
No refunds.
Full uniform must be worn.
If the candidate does not turn up to the grading, or is late they will fail the grading.
Grading cost:
Early Bird = $75 per student if paid 7 days in advance of the grading.
Late Bird = $90 per student if paid less than 7 days, but more than 2 days from the grading.
