Buddhism and Inner Peace
I am currently making my way home from Hong Kong where I have been looking at Buddhism and the concept of inner peace.
If you feel at ease with yourself, others, the world in general, free of anxiety and comfortable within your own skin, you may have achieved inner peace.
If not how can you find inner peace in a world full of kaos and anxiety.
Here are some principles to follow that I am using to find my own inner peace.
- Live in the now, don’t focus on the future
- Love yourself
- Be positive about yourself and others
- Visualise a peaceful place that you can go to
- Meditate regularly
- Get in touch with nature – go for a walk daily
- Don’t judge others – accept people for how they are
- Be grateful for what you have
- Stretch daily – release the tension in your body
I hope these principles will help you to find inner peace.
