Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ Belts and Rank
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ has an internationally recognised belt/rank system.
Like other martial arts systems, belts are used to signify a students progression.
Practitioners under the age of 15 start at white belt and can be graded up to Green Belt.
Once a practitioner turns 15 they can be graded in the adult ranks of blue belt and above.
Like other martial arts systems, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ has black belts, red and white belts, as well as red belts.
